Football Match

Fryday night I was watching an American Football Match but I don't want talk about it because Milford lost 28-20 vs Marlboro.

Field Hockey

My partner plays field hockey. On Fryday she had her last game in the season. They won 1-0 and she scored the goal. It was so fun. Usually I came with her to see them practise and play. Field Hockey is hard to learn and confusing for the first time you watch it. But it is a fun sport. There are 11 players on the field at a time including the goalie. The team has 4 forwards, 3 midfielders and 3 half backs or defense. It is somewhat like soccer with some of the rules but also very different. Friday was the last game for the seniors, the girls who will graduate from high school at the end of the year. The younger girls made a tunnel with their sticks for the seniors to run through as their name was called and they were given flowers. It was very nice. Then there was the varsity game which is the older girls followed by the junior varsity game that is younger girls.

-How old are you?

-15.

-Where are you from?

-I am from Milford, Massachussetts in the Unites States.

-What is your school?

-My school is Milford High School. Kids from ages 14 up to 18 go there.

-Do you play some sport? What?

-I play field hockey in the fall and from winter until summer i run track.

-What do you like?

-I like to do anything fun, meeting new people and going to new places.

-What do you study?

-Right now the classes I am studying are algebra 2, english, web design, health, and psychology.

-What do you like to see on TV?

-On TV my favprite show is House and One Tree Hill. House is a show about doctors and One Tree Hill is a series that has been on for 4 years and it's about a group of friends in their town through high school and college. It is not a reality show. I also like watching the Red Sox on TV.

-Do you like the Red Sox? What was happend with them?

-I love the Red Sox! They are my favorite baseball team. This year they made it to the semi-finals for the world series but they lost 4-3 games.

-What do you think about the spanish people?

-I think the Spanish people are great! All of you are so nice and funny and just want to have fun. I wish more American people were like you all. I am going to miss you very much.

-Do you want come to Spain?

-I would love to go to Spain! But I don't know if I can since I don't speak Spanish. I hope that even if I can't go on exchamge that one day I will go and I will see everyone I made friends with. Maybe one time in the summer I can.

The Pep Rally

New York

On Sunday we left at 6:30 and we arrived at 11:30. We walked around the city and visited many interesting places like the NBA store, Central Park, Av 5... We take the bus and we did a tour around the city. We stopped in the Jonh Lennon's memorial, round zero,Chinatown, etc..

We saw Legaly Blonde in Broadway, it was incredible and so fun.. When it finished we walked around New York in the night. We came running in the Hardrock cafe!! and more things..

The next day we went to the Statue of Liberty, ChinaTown and to the MoMa.

6th

We went to Boston! We made the Duck Tour around the city and in the river. The vehicle was a car of World War II. It was amphibious and I took a video when we arrived to the water. It finished and we visited the museom of the science of Boston!! It is very big and we had not enough time to see all this. We was very angry because in the afternoon we could have seen the rest of the museum or the city but we came to home..

Television

The television here it is very different, there are a lot of channels and if you pay you can get more. It's incredible!! Today, I was looking a red sox's match, they lost 9-1... The television is so big.. I am going to take a photo tomorrow!! I enjoy with the advertisement about Viagra, this is funny. When I said that in Spain we only have 6 channels the people was very surprised.

I haven't got enought time to write every day. When I arrived to spain I will remember all with the photos and write something.

4th

We had classes and in the afternoon we saw the people of Milford High School playing soccer and volleyball. In the night ate kitchen, meet balls, salad and macarronis. That was so good! very nice meal.

5th

We had spanish classes. We was the spanish teachers for our first time. In one of these classes my team won in the Scategories. We did cheat but... we won. The last class was the best. We talk in pairs with the english people. Carlos, Manu and I was a trio. We talked with some girls -.0 They was very talkative and friendly. In the afternoon I went with Lain and Hector to her host house. We played soccer and at 7:30 we arrived to the Bonfire in the Virginia's hoster. That was so cool!! I took some photos.

Third day

We went to the school for first time. I get up at 6:00 and I had a shower, wear my clothes and I had breakfast. We arrived early to the school and my partnet showed it to me.I took some photos. We had a meeting with our teachers and after that we went to class with our respect partners. I had web design, English (literature) and history.

Then we played soccer some time and at 3:30 we went to see Heather plays field hockey. They won 4-1. We came to home and we had dinner that was so good!! There were macarroni, salad, meet balls and kitchen. The red sox played and won vs Angeles.
